REMOTE SUPPORT FEATURES

Shared Access

Let your support team connect to computers you’ve set up for unattended access.

HOW IT HELPS
Anyone can lend a hand.
Why tackle everything alone? If you have to perform routine maintenance on a set of machines, split the responsibility. If you’ve got a lot of low-priority requests on your plate, let someone else take one for you. With GoToAssist shared access, you can share the workload. Your technicians can remotely access your inventory of unattended computers with ease.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
Shared access at the group level.
Shared access to unattended computers is determined by groups, called Companies in GoToAssist, that you can set up as the administrator. When you install an unattended computer, you choose which Company it belongs to. All technicians who you’ve assigned to that Company can then see and remotely access the machine.
FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS
The more the merrier.
You may be your customers’ favorite support technician, but you’re not always available, despite what they might think (or wish). By setting up a customer’s computer for unattended access, your team can step in as needed, even after hours. Trust us, your customer will appreciate the timely service — whether or not you provide it yourself.
USEFUL TO KNOW
Restrict a specific user’s access.
Every technician assigned to a Company can connect to computers in its inventory. However, you can easily revoke a technician’s permission to access unattended computers within the GoToAssist user settings. So if you have a new hire or someone in training, you don’t need to worry about unauthorized access to customer information.
